365 Appreciation Project

Tonight I was in the shower, when the electricity went out. It wasn’t even that I could bemoan good ol’ Eskom. We hadn’t topped up our pay-as-you-go meter. So the lights went out.

As I carried on in the dark, eventually getting my tablet and logging onto the website, becoming more and more impatient,, ready to pull my hair out, at it’s molasses-like loading time and non-user friendliness, I realised that actually, we’re very blessed that we actually have the means to top up our electricity. And all that it takes is to access the internet, practice some patience, punch in our credit card details, and Voila! We have light. It’s that easy.  I’m so grateful for our access to electricity.
