Today I’m grateful for being reminded of the shared insecurities that we, as women, have. I’ve photographed so many women in my time as a photographer, from the most beautiful to the most girl-next-door. Young, old, skinny, curvy. I photographed them all. And no matter where we are on the scale of perceived beauty, we somehow always find a way to put ourselves down. We all do it. And because we all do it, shouldn’t that kinda set a new standard of what beauty is. That collectively, we are flawed. Collectively we are unique. But collectively we are all the same. So therefore, collectively, we are all beautiful.
