I had so much fun with this shoot. Kristine, one of my makeup artists did her own hair and makeup and agreed to get in front of the camera. I wanted to do a porcelain doll type shoot, with a dash of quirkiness and sprinkling of girliness. I also took the opportunity to use my Lens Baby for a bit of fun!

We played with flowers, pearls, pieces of tulle and one of Rose’s dresses, and I love how the images came out.

This kind of shoot transports me to a place of playful creativity, where I’m completely present and in the moment. Moments like this bring me back to why I love being a photographer. For the shear joy of creating.
