This weekend I did something that will SIGNIFICANTLY impact me, my business and how I photograph people.
I watched the CreativeLIVE broadcast of Sue Bryce, Australia’s top Portrait Photographer in 2011. I was simply blown away by Sue’s honesty, openness and raw unbridled passion for what she has been doing for the last twenty years – making women feel beautiful.
The broadcast was streaming live from CreativeLIVE’s HQ in Seattle and ran for 3 days from Friday to Sunday. Although, because of the time difference it did mean that I had to tune in from 7pm to 2am for 3 days in a row. It was ABSOLUTELY worth it, and I would do it again and again to gain the insight, knowledge, tips and inspiration from watching Sue.
She spoke about the technicalities of posing your model, natural lighting, photoshop techniques as well as building and running a profitable photography business. OMW! I was blown away. Literally, I laughed, I cried, but most importantly, I grew. As person, as a photographer and as a business women.
Sue’s style is all about glamour, beauty and the appreciation of women. This is the shot that makes me want to do my photo shoots in high heels. Note her boots! During the broadcast, she even mentioned that she doesn’t go out for a run without her eyelashes on! Love it! *Pure glamour*
Thank you, thank you, thank you Sue Bryce. You’ve rocked my world!
